Cinnamon Rolls

Here is my favorite recipe to make cinnamon rolls! They are delicious and pretty easy to make. My favorite part is that you don’t need yeast, so chances are that everything you need to make these is already in your pantry 😋

Here are the ingredients:

For the Dough

4 Cups Flour

4 Tbls White Sugar

4 Tsps Baking Powder

2 Tsps Salt

6 Tbls Unsalted Butter

1 1/2 Cups Milk

2 Eggs

For the Filling

1 Cup White Sugar

1 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tbls Cinnamon

For the Frosting

6 Cups Powdered Sugar

2 Sticks Cream Cheese (16 Oz.)

4 Tbls unsalted Butter

Items you will need

Mixing bowl (Here are the ones I use)

Small glass bowel (Here are the ones I use)

Wooden Spoon (I love these)

Rolling Pin

Big metal spoon

Small metal spoon

Pizza cutter

Measuring cups/ spoons (Here are the ones I use)

Electric Mixer

2 13 inch rectangular pans

Cooking Spray

Directions For Cinnamon Rolls

Preheat Oven to 400 degrees

Pour the dry ingredients for the dough in a mixing bowl (flour, salt, white sugar, baking powder) and stir with wooden spoon to combine

Add small amounts of the milk to the combined dry ingredients and mix with the wooden spoon

Add the eggs and mix with the wooden spoon

It can be difficult to mix everything together, you've just got to use some muscle!

Once everything is mixed, set wooden spoon aside and mix with your hands

Once everything looks like a ball of dough, remove from bowl and knead on the counter for 2-5 minutes

Put some flour on the dough ball, especially on top, and flatten it a little but with your hands

Roll out the dough to make a long rectangle that is the same thickness throughout (the longer the rectangle the more layers each cinnamon roll will have)

Combine the ingredients for the filling in a small glass bowl

Melt the butter and spread evenly on top of the rolled out dough using a small metal spoon

Sprinkle the filling mixture on top of the dough

Use cooking spray to coat 2 13 inch rectangular pans

Sprinkle some of the filling mixture into the pans and then shake the pan back and forth to spread evenly

Roll the dough into one big log. Rolling it “hamburger style” will create bigger cinnamon rolls, rolling it “hot dog” style will create more cinnamon rolls.

Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut off 1 inch pieces and place them in the pan

Sprinkle more of the filling mix on top of the rolls in the pan

Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes

Directions For Frosting

Using the electric mixer, add the cream cheese and melted butter and mix on a slow speed until combined

Add small amounts of powdered sugar at a time using the big metal spoon

Turn the speed to high and allow to mix for 2 minutes until it looks light and fluffy

Then it is time to frost the cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
