Thanksgiving is tomorrow which means I am baking pies today! Apple is my favorite, and here is the recipe I love along with a crust recipe that has worked great for me!
Ingredients: 8 Small Green Apples 3 Tbs Flour 1 Tbs Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 3/4 Cup White Sugar 1 Tbs Lemon Juice 1 Tbs Butter
Directions:
1. Peel and cut apples, set aside
2. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl 3. Add apples to dry mix 4. Add lemon juice, stir 5. Add melted butter, stir
6. Roll out pie crust and place in bottom of pie pan with some overhang 7. Place filling into crust
8. Roll out other half of pie crust and place on top 9. Pinch side together of top and bottom crust, fold over onto pie, press down edges with fork 10. Cut 6 slits from middle of pie towards edge of pan
